BMW looks cool Dave,is that a UT one?.I am trying to look up garage diarama/snap on garage sets etc on ebay but no luck,any ideas what to look up for as a search please

 

dave i just brought one of these sets cheaper than buying them seperate or from america

the mk3 are a good car to work on thats all i done and will prob work on more in the future the mk1 will look good with the kit on decided what colour to do it yet mate.

 

going to see what works without doing to much work on this one but might do another with a total colour change after

 

yere it was a plain ut bmw , going to be a alpina once finished..

oh yes as my garage is in the spare room i dont get to see it so im also going to do something on my top shelf in one cabinet

 

done the rims black!!! looking mean!!

i got a red m3 4 door and a m3 cab to do next ,both ut models.

 

As i got another cabinet i have had a move about of my models so have freed up some space,wouldn't mind doing a brick wall effect back & sides,tiled floor perhaps.

this cost Ł17.50 inc postage of ebay,, bit rough in a few places ( chips were bonet meets wing) and some of the black door surronds etc need repainting black but cant really complain for that price.
got some alpina decals to put on next, rear boot badge and some for the seats and wheels.

 

Did you get the clamps sorted or do you need to get the glass ?

but yeas loads of work to do but i wouldnt of got this far without your help mate

one of my big worries is the deacals (help please) as some of you know this is where i want to finish with it

but were the wheels really white ?? im struggling to find a pic of the car that shows them

Getting back to the garage stuff,wouldn't mind some axel stands and trolly jacks and those things you lay on with wheels.

yeah i got that stuff from someone ages ago its got ford all over it too they weren't cheap tho

just waitin on the sideskirts to set and the new milliput to arrive as i've had to re-do the rear bumper!!

how did you get the backs of the head lights black or were they like that already?

as the backs of the one's on my bm are chrome??

they were already black!! but going to pop them off and redo along with clear indicators.
