Been busy day today spraying the Merc ,Its not been the ideal weather..rainy and damp But I made a makeshift spraybooth in my daughters playshed/chuck toys in/garden furniture etc and forget about it !
Used a gas cooker to provide some warmth and keep the damp at bay !
Halfords provided the spray paint (stella artois gave me the motivation ! ) , Volkswagen Mars Red , a nice red/orange colour.
Really pleased with the colour and finish..can't wait for the paint to harden so i can put it back together

Thanks RAPID 3DR I'm pretty much in awe of the models on here so i did my best .. I gave it 2-3 dust coats then a slower last coat to give it a shine..then whipped it indoors quick to dry off...PHEW !

Yep I think its a fantastic idea as some of the models on here are absolutely brilliant!! the patience you guys must have to create these master pieces is beyond me!!!

Anyhow... I have asked escortnutter to start a poll in General Discussion so as to prove to Admin (im just a mod btw) that there would be real interest!!

that much is clear to me though seeing as this one thread has had over 58000 hits with over 5000 replies!!!!

Show your support on the Poll fellas and i will do my upmost to get you your own section where you can dedicate seperate threads to your models and modelling skills and builds rather than having to put them all on the one thread!!

This albo , alangti .. thing , probably none of my business , but why don't you report him to the Police , at the end of the day it's theft , recieving money by fraudulent means..most of you who have bought from him will have his email address and his home address (if you paid by paypal), let the police know he has committed a potential crime..they will follow it up ! Don't let him get away with it , think about it ! how many websites are there on the internet he can sell his models to....1000's ..thats a lot of money he can make !
