Default Looking for advice

Non Ford related. My late mates mum has just been hit with 800+ quid and a reduction of her no claims from 9 years to 3 by Santander. At 84 years old and totally averse to the internet, she is at a loss.
2016 Drunken twat hits three parked cars head on at about 50 mph, hers being the third, Police caught the tosser and his insurance paid for the damage to her car.
This year she had a bump, her fault. Insurance company wanted to write of her car and offered a ludicrous low estimate of it's worth.
She bought the car of them and paid for the repair of her car (£200) and the damage to the other woman's car.
Given these arseholes have never paid out a penny on her behalf, how can they come away with this crap?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but when these clowns start shafting pensioners, really gets on my tits. Any advice gratefully recieved.

I'd be looking at a different insurance company. They will try screw her over either come renewel day (which it sounds like she's at) or fee's to cancel insurance.

My son had the same a few years back. Woman over the road reversed a hire car into his Corsa while it was parked outside the house. Their insurance paid for it all, but his insurance went up by £300 come renewal time. When I queried it, Admiral said that because he'd claimed, that made him more likely to claim in future, and therefore a higher risk! Twats got kicked into touch pretty rapid after that!

Went direct to Directline eventually. Got it fully comp. for £565 which is a tad better than 800 quid!

Hi.
Please feel free to pass on our details if you like for insurance. We have a number of schemes that can cater for older drivers.
Regards,
Dan.
