Car insurance question
You do need to sort it soon. I would not want to loose that many years NCB.
if you did insure a car you would not be using then there is no risk to the insurance.
Id insure it as Laid up if possible.
How could you be questioned just for paying for a no risk policy.
But in a way your paying for nothing. In a way.

This might sound totally the opposite of what you want to do but why not just buy the cheapest small car that you can and insure it in the normal way and use it occasionally instead of your wife's? At least that way everything is legitimate and you are saving a bit of wear and tear on your misses' car.

even if i was to buy a car to actually use, i would have to tax it, MOT it, fuel it and carry out any repairs etc it just adds to expense. I really dont need a car as daft as it sounds
The Mrs car is actually mine, i bought it for her. She insurers it with me as a named driver, she's trying to build up her no claims
