Default Second Vehicle Insurance

It's getting (or got) to that time of year where the roads are getting icy and full of leaves. And those of you that keep your babies locked away for the winter will be insuring the work horse/second vehicle to keep the miles off and the elements away!

We do some brilliant second vehicle schemes now, so that the bonus doesn't have to move away from the pride and joy. SO even if we do get a nice day mid winter, you can still take her out for a spin!

With the weather in mind, have you reviewed your home insurance recently? Home insurance has been just as badly affected as any other insurance, and you could save a huge amount spending 5 minutes talking to our household specialists.

So if you need a quote, please call me directly, I'd be more than happy to assist.

Regards

Would this work if i had for example a Vw Bora insured with you, then wanted to insure a Escort van, as second vehicle.
van would be used just for personal use, no tools or equipment.

I have a Cosworth, Bora and im considering a cheap van, just dont fancy 3 policys.
I have 6(might be 7?) ncb on cosworth
and 4 ncb on Bora.
Cheers.

Perfect, you wouldnt need to move any bonus, and I will be able to give you the equivalent on the van.

Give me a call when you get a spare 5 minutes.

got a big complaint for A-PLAN

Rang this afternoon on 01235 550 200
Spoke to a guy called James. was on the phone for at least 15-20 mins,
Explained to him I have a policy with Greenlight insurance for a MK1 Focus rs and looking to insure a Ford KA for winter run around use max 5k a year and promised me he would mirror 4years ncb.
Any way all way looking good untill i rang back and spoke to a lass called jodie. she gave me a quote of £800 a year.( was not going to take insurance out as the RS is less than that a year)
when i explained to her that the RS is less than that, she said if your 4 years ncb is with the RS she wouldnt be able to mirror the ncbs.

I thought the service was very poor
and came away a very un happy chappy.

We don't have a James or a Jodie here, so I can only apologise on their behalf. Which branch was it you phoned?

If you haven't claimed in the last 4 years and you are over 25 possibly, but we have over 50 branches and our branch is the specialist branch in the group. It may be that they just didn't have the scheme to do it.

Does this type of policy have an age limit on it? As im looking to insure my GT4 and a 328i, but unfortunately im 23 and 'Admiral Multicar' is well over a grand for me.

Also, I have only built up my ncb on one car, as I haven't had to cars to insure before.
