Default Insurance?!

I turned 20 last week with 3yrs NCB and wanted to swop my current car to a 1.7 Puma.

I rang up directline and egg and niether will insure me till im 21.

Now the Puma is either 12/13 depending on model.

I did an insurance quote on a 106 GTi with Egg too and they give me a decent price of £680 fully comp.

Anybody show me to a decent company who will cover me or suggest something of similar grouping insurance wise?

Cheers

James

Sounds as if you haven't looked hard enough mate, scrape the bottom of the barrel to get the best price you can.

Also obvious but have you tried confused.com?

Cool design but image looks very flat form the render would look cool if the mountains in the background where blurred and at a darker tone

to be honest stick it in on a price comparison site people will cover you but i dont think it will be that cheep

i would also look for a completly new policy rather than changing your exsisting policy as a new policy is cheaper to get than a renewal as insurance companys charge more for renewals as thats then when they start to make there money on the seocund year

make sure you shop around with alot of diffrent insurers as to my knowledge egg and direct line are both part of the rbs group and you will be getting similare if not the same policy and premium quote
