REALLY pisses me off. Just an observation - but it's created more tension because the Muslim community have let it. With all due respect, I doubt very much there would be this outcry if a cartoon was published about any other religion......there would be comment and concerns voiced but no-one would be parading the streets. The extremists have used this to just add fuel to their fire and give decent people (like yourself) a bad name. I think that's the point of all this. Any non-Muslims feel like it's all about 'us' (used very loosely) walking on eggshells in case we offend Muslim's......everyone should respect everyone else's beliefs but as I said in my earlier post, this is England and if people don't like our way of life they aren't obliged to stay.....

It is, it's a huge one covered in gold leaf and attended by thousands. They also tell her the same thing at the main one in London and via live tv links up back to 'home' ( I always though thome was where u live, were born and recieve social support and where you vote but I must be mistaken), and also when her parents whore her round at 'gatherings' trying to force her to agree to marry a stranger because she's 27 and not married yet.

Well to be honest if you are Muslim and I suspect you may be, you're too close to home to go into any specifics i'm afraid. Trust me I understand that there are different types of Muslim with different versions of the faith but this family is fairly typical and pray at a very large well attended mosque so they are hardly a minority

If my other half was found out she would be sent abroad and forced to marry within the week. We cant take any chances utill the time comes when a decision is made about the future
