Default Any garage or workshop owners on here ?

I need to equip my workshop with a 2 poster ramp

What are the best deals out there and what types do you recommend ?

I am not impartial to a second hand one https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=172882

3 phase or single phase / 2.5 or 3 tonne will be fine

What are the servicing costs out of interest ? I noticed a sticker on moose's ramp that says they need specialist inspection every six months.

I think it's more for insurance and liability than anything.

mine gets a look at as part of my policy.

ALL garage lifting gear comes under the H&S ruling for regular inspection and maintenance

Still looking for a good 2 poster (prefer a 2nd hand unit - can collect)

EBay have some from time to time, prices and condition vary. If you know what you are looking for, are prepared to travel and know what questions to ask, you may well find a bargain there
