BMW M52 engine tuning
Alright peeps,
Anyone had or know anything about tuning and in particular the MSD evo chip for the 2.8 M52 engine ?
Just looking on MSD's website and it says that a 25% decrease in fuel consumption can be acheived
Not really fussed about the power or torque increases but if the 25% CAN be achieved then it would be money well spent. Anyone had one of Stu's chips for this motor ?

Mike,
If you're getting nearly 34 mpg then I'd say your all sorted
My trip to work is 59 miles M25 then stop start on the A12 into glorious Fairlop and I get on average 28mpg and I'm not really driving for economy.
Would be nice to iron out flat spots and increase the mpg at the same time just want to see if anyones had one of Stu's chips for this motor ?

10K+ Poster!!
I'd be interested to know as well as just in the process of getting an E39 (will be sad to see the E34 go ) ..as above not so much the performance but a bonus on the mpg

Not much traffic for me either except the A12 at about 7:30
