Good to see your dad was unhurt and the car did exactly what it was suppose to do. Protect the occupants by crumple zones collapsing, Airbags and pre-tensioner seat belts activating.
An older car and it would have hurt a lot more.
Hes just got to get a new car now.

sorry to see that happen, at least he is alright. very surprising the damage that can be done at that speed.

30mph? bloody hell! amazing what damage you can do at those speeds. Its probably because he hit something solid and there was no "give" in the barrier. Glad he's ok though.
