Ive heard that they are not as bad as everyone thinks on fuel (no worse than a Subaru) as the tank in an Evo 6 only holds 25 litres.

Don't want an 8. 6 looks the best and in standard form is the fastest as 5th gear proved

They have small tanks hence why people say they are crap on fuel,

Just understand that they are not cheap to run what 300bhp car is with the type of driving experience is ??

Oh and get an 8

lmao do you know what range you'd get on a 25litre tank? they are actually 50l and thats short enough if you rag it

RW's "record" tank in his TME was 88miles IIRC

that was on one of the famous 'cheshire runs' where 'allegedly' 15-20 evos did a tour of cheshire and derbyshire - was good fun, apart when we all run out of fuel at teh same time and the people in the shell station ask if it was a subaru owner day out...

I just bought a 6 and i think its gr8 car imo
i had 3 cosworths 2 sierras & an escort cossie esconiges car
& they all cost me a fortune so imo opinion the evo is no different
when it comes to running costs.
The evo isnt as quick as a stage 3 cossie but the thing is on rails on the back roads.
Watch out for the transfer box the bolts break on the diff & can cause bother in the 5s+6s i know cause its happend to me
