Default Weird things with clocks?

Was just sitting here and happened to glance at my analogue clock on the wall and the second hand was on 10, so i glance away, and look back and its still there!

I thought it might be batteries, but it happens a lot lately when i look at a clock, and the second hand seems to stay in one spot for ages! Not just my clock, but all analogue clocks

Anyone else get this?

Its not just my clocks, its all clocks.

I'm pretty sure it would do it with a digital clock with seconds counter on it.

I dunno why it happens, i just glance at a clock and the second seems to hang for ages, then it carries on after that.

I've had this too - just put it down to as GurnE says, you just looked twice in one second. It's a bit hit and miss because your first look needs to be right at the beginning of the second, and then again right at the end.

What you will normally see (therefore get used to) will be looking at it half way through, so it's only half a second before it moves.

So, every so often when you look round quick, you'll catch it right and believe you have the power to alter time...

Make sense?
