Default Paddle clutch worn out.

I've just got hold of a Sachs paddle clutch (second hand). I'm abit worried about the pad thickness. Does any one know the minimum pad thickness of it so i can gauge wether to put it in or bin it.

Measurements:
Top of pad to rivets = 1.2mm
Top of pad to matterial between pads = 3mm
Total thickness of pads (including meterial inbetween) = 8.25mm

Thanks

I have seen new ones (paddle clutches) with a similar amount of material on. If your worried it can be done now, but that should be okay for a while yet

If you undrill the rivets the original thickness and material used will be on the back of one of the paddles, but that will obvioulsly then render it useless to you until you get it re-lined - so dont do it

Just fit it
