i thought they still had to follow the same rules as the rest of the plates on offer? cant have 2 letters at the beginning etc..?

A good friend of mine paid around £24K for his RS500 when it was virtually new, and then went and put a £24K number plate on it

so if you pay enough you can have it say ANYTHING? any numbers or letters next to each other? so why are people buying b19 bhp when they can just pay more (rich people that is) for big bhp? ive never seen a plate like this!

got in in one..............know someone paid 4k for "cos 600" last year


some one has cos 500 god knows how much that one is

most people that have that sort of plate have them on proper cars not fords etc

AML 1 etc

As far as i'm aware it still has to follow the basic numerplate rules. i.e cant have i because it looks like 1. I remember p1lot going for over a million i think it was. Or z because it looks like a 2. stuff like that. I'm pretty sure that's how it works but don't quote me on it.

yep still has to use the same digits as regular plates............its just the order of the digits that doesnt have to conform to the regular plates

As long as they have at least 1 number and 1 letter i always thought they were fine.
BIG BHP = becomes B19 BHP as it HAS to have numbers in it somewhere.

RS 500 obviosuly has numbers already so its fine.

As the registration is considered to be dateless, it can be assigned to any roadworthy car, van, heavy goods vehicle, moped or motorcycle

my old dears bmw is RF 1234*

so you can have 2 letter then numbers.

* = the numbers aint 1234 lol

I am SURE i've seen a plate with just 2 letters and no numbers on it

wasn't a special car or anything , but the plate was defo just 2 letters??

i knew a bloke with TT 44 on his motorhome and TT .. on some of his cars
