Im not 100% but i find it hard to believe....

Im not sure if they use a cartridge bearing or just a standard type roller bearing.

Either way these should just be a item which can be taken out of the castings and replaced with ease.

I hope so anyway or the GT dreams are being shattered in front of me

I take it the whole unit is replaced in the center is replaced...

Are the GT series water cooled like a standard type turbo or do they not require this ??

Also while im asking surely the roller bearings are much stronger and hard wearing than than the others so should last much longer

The complete core cartridge is replaced and just the housings are reused.
All the roller bearing turbos I have seen were water cooled but I think there are ones that dont use water cooling but don't quote me on that lol
From what I have read the shafts in some GT turbos are not as strong esp compared to an ALS Maram shafted number.
