Anyone else noticed after the recent Sky + update, the channel
numbers are now 4 digits !!! (press 0 first to see what I mean)

Does this mean we will get more useless channels full of adverts

I've noticed the menu's have changed.......News & documentries are now seperate.....but at my dads house it's the same as before....very strange.....

The updates are rolled out over a period of time, I haven't got it either, looks like Simon was lucky

You can force a Sky+ update by.... (PACE BOXES)

1) Switch unit into standby.
2) Switch off (by removing mains power)
3) Wait 10 seconds
4) Press and hold BACKUP button on box
5) Plug unit back into mains (keeping button pressed in)
6) Wait for software update message (VERY LARGE WRITING)
7) Release button
8) Wait for process to complete (10 minutes )

Pressing 0 first has worked for a long time, way before the latest update!

It has a little speaker icon on my set so maybe they are relocating the (useless) radio channels

Although if you have noticed they are running out of channel space already! Especially around the sports and music ones!

When you get the latest update, the speaker icon WILL change to a zero !
