Wel im pretty GUTTED!!!!!!!
Havnt used the 3dr for 2weeks now,just sat in the garage doin jack shit!!
THought "as its a nice day" il take it for a quick spin..Went and filled it up,and i swear to you i was out in to for no longer than 15mins,and thought fuck it,and came home..
Just got no pleasure/excitment out of it AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!
Does that signal the end of my "cossie life" and is something trying ot tell me to stop waisting my time/cash on 80`s rot boxes???

It happens from time to time .....leave it parked up, then take it out another day and see how you feel. There proper wallet hoovering cars but also good for the grin factor 
I miss my old ones but I could be tempted to buy another one once I've cleared some shrapnel out the driveway first ....

IMO you have to be in the right mood to drive them. I went out in my S1 last night because I hadn't driven it in over 5 weeks and din't thrash it and stuck to the speed limit every where. I was feeling tired though got a drink and woke myself up a little then went back out and gave it a bit of stick and enjoyed it a lot more...

This happened to me on a few occasions with my cossie , ended up selling it last week and for some reason i haven`t misssed it a bit Infact im glad its gone

And for some reason i want it to stay a 1.6
Will keep my eyes peeled for a nice grey one in the future , and spend a bit of time getting a good engine and box sorted out

Mate my Escos has been sitting there for weeks now i cant be bothered to climb in and strap up BUT the F-Car has had a major clean and tart up ready for a nice day....you can never get bored of an F-Car...pure sex ...The martini Escos is more to just look at nowadays i hope the summer brings enthusiam back to use it and continue the upgrading

havent evern sat in the escort since ford fair havent missed it and this time off the year its best to forget its in the garage and wait till april to come 
then its back to fun weekends away again plus i have the focus rs to use this time off the year and thats fun and fast to drive

I hardly drive 3dr in the winter ..but when i do drive it i loooove it and i drive my evo 8 everyday? work that out ???

Was the Boxster actually! not driven it for AGES! got it out on saturday as it was sunny and not that cold. Drove to my mates in woking with the roof down and really gave it some, it was just superb. I love that car sooo much
Mind you I took my two God children to Diggerland yesterday in the Skyline and that was pretty nice as well.
I think your Sierra is cool as fook actually Pete. I think it just not the weather or you weren't in the mood. You will LOVE it again come Bedford

15 mins of driving somewhere without intention is hardly enough time to get the buzz or owt is it??
not the same but i used to do this with my turbo'd fiesta - although it would destroy something in the 15mins so i'd have to limp it home
you got other stuff to be doing, that you were thinking about or something on TV you fancied watchin etc? if you're not racing round or annoying other people or pushing the limits, just going for a pootle then doesn't matter what the car it may seem pointless if youre not in the mood.
have you not got a set piece of road or anything as a measure? a favourite corner or bend? a marker that you usually achive X speed by?
