Anyone remember when Adidas Predators came out, Snickers did a promo where you could win 1 of a thousand pairs? Basically you had to collect wrappers with 4 different players pictured inside and then one with a pic of the boot.

I got the boot pic and had all the players, was all set to claim my pair then found that when I went to get the wrappers my mum had binned them thinking they were rubbish

Never did get her to cough up for a pair to compensate me

I won a trophy in last September for Best Restored Stationary Engine in show, aint got a pic but it stands about 18 inches high and weighs a bloody tonne! lol

Well Proud of that as it's in memory of my dads best mate who committed suicide and introduced me to the scene as a boy!

I won a £350 bar tab at my local once. I was a rollover from weeks of an bingo competition going on and on. Lasted a month.

I also filled in a questionaire in a PC Magazine and won a copy of Microsoft Visio.

Won a game from Computer & Video games mag' when much younger, Lethal Weapon 2 & film crew jacket from trade mag' competition, won top speed against Cossymad (but he killed me on anything that required launching ) and a couple of awards nominations at work (but involved having my ugly mug on a cinema sized screen ).

I once went to makro and won a free family photo... When we got there he took the photo and then said lets get one of the kids..And my dad was like No No just the one. But he insisted and when it come to collect are free photo he was trying to sell it us...And never hinted for us to just take the free one. It was either them both and 1 frame etc so what ever happend he was gonna get at least 60 quid.. Once we made it clear we only wanted The free photo he got a bit sharp

Entered a competition in a newspaper to appear on stage with Iron Maiden at Monsters of rock and ended up winning the runners up prize of a signed 12" of there single that had just been released.

Also entered a competition in Raw Power magazine (old rock music mag).
Entered in a few different addresse's and won the same thing twice,An Album and t-shirt off a band called the nymphs

ok here goes, I got IIRC the 1980 Blue peter annual for xmas and in the back was a picture of the new dog Goldie (remember her died yonks ago)
the picture had all her "family" on it aswell her dad Angus" was turned towards Goldie in the pic, the competition was:What is Angus saying to goldie?

A lad who I know, lives in the same town as me, won the "Redline Magazine" Renault 5 GTT at the Doncaster Max Power show or whatever it was! To win it all you had to do I think was txt in the answer to the question "What size engine does a standard 5 Turbo have?" so he basically won it for 25p I think it was! - Shame he hadn't pased his driving test and had to get his brother to drive it home for him!!
