Personal preference is Wax Wizard, but Meguiars is easily available - use the claybar kit and their three stage system to clean and refresh the paintwork, then seal it all in with the wax.

A few years back I did my mates red Golf with the WW stuff (it was pink from constantly leaving it to dry in the sun ) came up looking better than new (lost the before and after pic's though in a HDD crash).

Good advice from Bill, Wax Wizard is my fave too, but not available on the highstreet...
MER isn't wax, it's polish! Bear in mind what that white crap is that's left behind when it dries... chalk plain and simple. Proper wax has no cleaning action at all, it's job is purely to seal and provide protection.
