someone told me that it aint and it says it on a lgbook is this correct?

the name on the logbook is only the registered keeper not nesseserily the legal owner.

It's not illegal no.You just apply for a new one when you buy the car. They cost about £17 I think

After they were looking at confiscating cars from speeders me and the missus drew up a contract that says although the other person is the registered keeper they own the car. I was told by a legal begal that if it went to court it would be sufficient to stop them taking the car from us
