Whats the deal with these the good points and the bad points, i am thinking about depositing some cash for a while,

Good points: You can't lose. Can get your money back any time u like.
You could win!! There are 2 x £1 million prizes every month and loadsa smaller prizes.


Bad points: You could just not win anything, and spend 20 years having your money tied up, earning NO interest. And in 20 years time that money will be worth far, far less in real terms.


Not sure it's a good investment. There are far better ways to make your money work for you, and earn a decent return on it. It can be a bit of fun though, 'cos at the end of the day, it could be you!!! And beats paying for lottery tickets, so have a go at it if you got some dosh to play with. I have some premium bonds.

personal opinion.. waste of time.. i had 3k in premium bonds and won about £50 .. think i could do better with a decent savers account

suffice to say i wont be bothering again

I've bought £100 recently, just to say I've got some. I've not used it as a savings account. I just view it like I've just paid £100 for a never ending Lottery ticket.... (there's better odds for the £1m prize than it is for Lotto I think)

my dad uses them and never has any problems getting cash back, i only have £100 worth
