Is the 450bhp on the 18psi by any chance? As that's alot of turbo to only get 450bhp at 36psi

26.5psi...... 352bhp

stu remember that ported heads/cams will made more air flow BUT have similer psi boost,,,,,, so a ported head and cams running greys with 27psi will consume more air than a standard engine making the bhp on the modded engine higher at the same PSI

just though i would add that part but im confident you already know that

btw im WISHING to have just under 32psi held on the new engine then drop off lower at high rpm but have a nice boost spike and big bhp to match

so watch this case,,,,,,,,,,, but be paitent as its not gonna happen this week

Yeah I knew that ginge

I'm just doing a little experiment. Although its going to be an "average" of boost vs bhp, which are never solid rock, but its going to be interesting to see how it does average out and if there is a pattern.

If you give me the correct one would make it more accurate on the rest of it

If the numbers arn't correct, it wont be an accurate comparison

Stu it is a completely pointless exercise as this type of averaged graph can only work for a given turbo type. (i.e. a seperate graph for each type of turbo giving approx power per boost)

Once you seriously change an engine's VE it does not follow the same linearity.

My engine gives nearly double the power for boost of a normal cossie engine running a T34.

Is it that obvious I'm just curious. But even then from that chart you can still see which cars obviously outperform you standard cossie

505 bhp @ 26psi @ 7000 rpm guess about 460-80 in car, and 360 @ wheels.
447lbft @ 30psi @ 4500 rpm

engine dyno proven,

gt30/t34 turbo, rs500 spec head, inlet, 8 greens, p8,piper cams,

Now running a larger AET GT30 turbo, modded inlet, s8 ecu
