just curious as ive bought a pair of cams off someone who said one was profiled from a blank however both have got Ford stamps on them? do i go back and complain or not...?

im sure being profiled from a blank would mean no stamps watsoever on there apart from the companies who are profiling them?

Yes if the cam blank was brought from ford it could have the ford stamp on it before being profiled

i couldn't see Ford selling a blank, if it was profiled incorrectly it could cause engine damage, Fords would not want the comeback.

i think thats what mine has............as i was told they are BD10's but with a ford stamp they must be reprofiled or infact just the originals

i dont wanna name and shame coz he is a decent bloke and just wanted to double check whether or not the cams should have ford stamped on them....i know one should...but not both :S

i will ring him up later tonight and see what he says and hopefully come to some sort of arrangement
