yoko 048R used them in medium compound for road/track couldn't fault them

ive heard from a few people that the toyo 888's go off to quick

how bout Hankook RS2's, i run these on my fiecos for trackdays.

cant fault them, but they are the 1st set of trackday tyres i have run. and they came in low profile sizes 215/40/17.

i've heard Toyo's go off, yok's and Dunlops dont do my size.

Ive used the Yoko's on my fiesta and rated them highly but have also heard the dunlops are good.

Wanting a pair for my 3dr this time,not bothered if i have to use 214/45/17's

You can get the 888s cheaper than the yoko 48s, but I've heard from loads of folk that they don't last as long as the yokos, and at £100 a tyre or whatever, longevity DOES play a factor

I bought a set of AO48s last March and do a track day a month and they still have a couple of full days left in them.

Spoke to a lad at the 'ring with a 306 GTI6 who got through a set of 888s in one day @ Anglesey

I have run Clio cup slicks before, yes they grip far better than the 48s etc, but only once they're warm
