The time has come unfortunetly

I've deffo made my mind up [I think]

I'm gonna sell up my RST and buy a Fast Road 205 GTi [for eveyday use + track days] hopefully Mi powered and buy a sports bike [Probably Yam R6].

I've been umming and aaring for about a year now [and even put the RS up for sale in the past but backed out of a deal].....but I've finally decided to sell up.

Reason is I've ended up building a car which is too mint to use every day I'm always too busy to use it and I'm sick of smoking round in a runabout day-to-day....I want something quick for everyday use and the RS is too good

+ my house mates all have sports bikes and are away evey weekend in the summer on them.

I'll probably be back in the future [maybe in a few years] but in something cosworth powered

Just wanted to get that off my chest...

Have to say, im REALLY liking the Pug 205 Mi16 conversions at the moment, although i wouldnt sell my cossie for one, i would deffo have one to run around in every day.

you dont need them on to get the cash and ive got a set of BRAND NEW erst uprated discs neevr used

i SOOOO regret selling the brakes and wish i never

Gus....I've seen a couple of decent J2's for about £2200 so were talking an extra grand which I can't afford. I think for a first bike the J2 should be ok

£750 insurance
£250 Helmet
£500 leathers
£100 Boots
£80 Gloves
£80 Back Protector
£500 Licence

Soon adds up!!

 

i remeber the missus took the cash for em and spent it on a fucking bag


i also know i paied more for em than i sold em for,,,,,,,,,,, think it was around the 500 quid mark,,,,,,, brand new and never used,,,,,,,,, cost me 50 quid in fuel to collect em to sell to you


so i recon there worth 20 quid each side

 

ZX6R G/J models are great bikes

Far better road bikes than then new B/C models as they are far less extreme

I'd stick with your original R6 plan myself though

I'd take an R6 over a ZX6RG or J anyday

 

Yeah R6 is the other option also ...... but they seem to hold there money Very Very well. Don't really see many droppin gunder the £2500 mark. All depends on what the car sells for [if it even sells ]
