Default S2 pulling to right when accelerating

It started today, put my foot down and as soon as a bit of power started coming on it pulled to the right like crazy, also pulls to left if changing down a gear at high revs.

Would this be my gearbox or is there any other explanation?

Only just got the neq box in from gearbox man which is stage one and not really give it much so bit confused.

Help

i use to have something like that, turned out it was the anti roll bar not tightened / worn bushes

will check to see if its come loose but it really doesn't feel right, it keeps wanting to spin in 3rd when its not even running big power

does anti roll bar help tighten it up and stop spinning as well?

I was going to say bushes too, if that helps.

See if they are cracked badly, and just for general signs of wear. Likely to be knackered if they are original.

Poke and lever around with a metal pry bar.

Somethings lose or worn or the tracking / camber is out on one side.

I agree with what everyones saying mine did exactly the same thing for the same reason due to badly worn bushes and worn engine mounts

Yup, same happened on my mk4 3i - was front ARM bushes. Could also be TCA bushes as suggested or ball joint on one side, which can throw tracking out.

My mk5 does it at the mo cos the ball joints are fooked and tracking keeps getting chucked out - cept mine does it the other way around : pulls to LEFT under accelleration and to the right when you lift off or change gear.....

Just jack it up and pull the wheel about, you'll soon feel any play

Mine was running one of Ahmed's chips @ 16psi and was a bit lively with one wheel wanting to go in a different direction than the other
