I'm pretty sure the Skyline belonged to David Yu who writes for Evo mag, It was called 'Godzilla' or something

Found this http://freespace.virgin.net/joss.ellis/GTR/Owners.html

"Here's my old Purple R33 V-Spec (Godzilla) which I imported new in July 1997.
Final modifications were: HKS GT2530 needle roller bearing turbos; HKS Super sequential dump valves; Mines VX-ROM ECU; Mines Cams and Pulleys; Mines super outlet Pro outlet pipes; 660cc injectors; modified air-flow meters, a steel head gasket; ARC tuned induction box; Trust down pipes; GReddy Profec fuzzy logic boost controller; Laminova water cooled oil cooler and Nismo LM GT1 18" by 10" three piece alloys.
Run at 1.1 bar boost, this produced around 450bhp and at 1.4 bar it gave 620bhp! Waaaah-hey!!"

Youd be CRAZY not to get an XR6 Turbo (well, the Typhoon version if you want!) Pops.

Totally different league mate, and an extra 1.4litres!

Unless you wanted a dedicated track car id deffo go for the Ford.

BTW its not a genuine GT40 on them, its a big fucker, but not a full 700bhp rated GT40, kinda like RS500 T4s arnt real T4s.

In a straight line is where the Cerbera is better off, round a track that R32 would murder the TVR

I am fairly certain that I spoke to the owner of that R32 back when I had a R32 myself. IIRC, that car was stolen and never recovered...

Well the Scooby vs EscCos one, as well as it not being as standard as they made out, anyone who was there while they filmed it will tell you the Esc Cossie murdered the Scooby, but it was editied and refilmed a lot so it looked like a close race.

Heres an ancient episode of clarsons motorworld where he drives a R32GTR, and goes to some ancient drifting comp, and got some shithot and rare old JTCC footage

Your both a bit confused, and wrong

The grey R32 XR2 is on about is Mick Begleys one he wrote off the other year at Japfest, this video was done years before that.

Mick reshelled the car into another R32GTR shell, painted it silver, and its known as the TopSecret R32, even tho its the wrong shade of gold and has no TopSecret parts on it barring the stickers

He has ALSO bought the JUN Yellow R33 Super Lemon off Tim Webster, who bought it off Deano, who bought it off some Scottish goon.
