-6 will be far too small from tank to pump on a 3door.

Also depends what pump.

Nick,

IIRC, the standard pump just has a normal push fit for the hose, and is jubilee clipped?

I source all the fitting parts for that tank to pump stuff myself - will be registering as a trader at some point doing primarily that, but I can certainly advise you in the meantime.

standard pump has push on hose connection along with push on onto the tank.
to put aeroquip hose on you will need a 044 pump with comes with a threaded pump inlet and you'll have to mod your tamk with a screw on adaptor.
RichPon was using a alloy tank, not a standard one.

True mate, but I have supplied a couple of people with 044 pumps in standard position with regular tanks

As long as you use NON-PTFE lined, then you can jubile to the tank, as the hose size is a perfect fit.

By the way, did you ring my mobile earlier?

Yes Rich. Coming up your way tomorrow afternoon to go to Silverstone. Can you pm your address for the satnav or a suitable meeting point.
We'll be coming along the M4. Hope to be by M25 about 17.00 or is that a bad time ?
