Saph 4x4 engines were produced from late 1989-1992:
YBJ = RED cam cover - this was the Euro 1504 emisions specification engine.
YBG = GREEN cam cover, these later spec engines conformed to the stricter US 83 emisions standard.
The above is from my ref books BUT.....some further info from a past thread::

In the UK, Germany, Italy, Belgium etc. the saff's from 1990 till 1992 got a Red Top engine (1504).
The 92-spec saff's (with the facelift dash) got standard a Green Top (US 83) engine.
And, i've got this:

I drive a 1990 Greentop for the scandinavian market.
Heated front screen and heated seats are both great things to have when it gets chilly outside.
