As title really

I am after an old motorola startac , but they used the big credit card sized sim cards .
can you get away with using the small type sim in them ?

if not does anyone know if you can still get the big ones?

They still come full size, you have to push the little sim out of the big card.

At least Orange ones do

Startacs use the whole sim car- the 75 and 90- I cant remember about the 130 though. The motorola V series phones which followed used the chip only.

Gaz, get a full size card, turn so its face down on the table and using NORMAL see through celotape run a strip acorss the hole where the sim should be.
Turn over and pop your sim in.
This is 99% perfect every time.

Startacs are 100% shite though- the quality control on them was awfull.

or cut a window in a standard "credit" card and sellotape the small sim in.
my mate had a startac which appeared to be running on a "matalan" store card - he'd pull it halfway out to show ya, just not enough to see the SIM.. had loads of people going with that gag
