An oil filled radiator in a wood shed would be pointless. The insulating qaulities of the wood on a shed are like non existant! You either need to board it out inside and isulate it, then a oil rad would be ok as the heat would build up, or get a heater more substantial. But the latter is not energy efficient and wastes money...niether of which are any good really!
Same with Spax. An oil filled rad i dont really advise for a garage. They are quite slow releasing heat, and it takes a while to build up. In a garage this will easily get lost around the door area.

YOUR NOT TRAINING HARD ENOUGH IF YOU NEED A HEATER!!
start training, get all sweaty, then you don't need a heater, you'll be warm enough, lol

Well, insulation is the obvious solution to heat loss! It will pay for itself in what you save, but only over time! Best way in a garage would be to fix 'kingspan' insulation boards to the walls and then ply over and then rockwool in the roof space. But it all depends on what type of garage you have. Then a thick curtain at the door! If your that bothered
Oil rad would be fine than on a constant low setting

Depends on what kind of insulation you use. If you use a foam kind like kingspan it would be ok without a membrane, but if you want to use rockwool then you must use a membrane too!
