Default s1 drive shafts

does anyone make uprated drive shafts for the series one?

hopefully when finished mine should be making some good power and drive shafts arethe only week point left in my transmission to sort?

think quaife do them or make equal length ones somehow

any got them? or know of them?

Quaife don't list any esc 3/4 shafts, but I'll call them monday if you like.
I can get yours strengthened

yeah that would be cool cheers dude

im sure that do some sort of extension bit to that gives you equal length shatfs reducing torque steer and stuff.

what do you mean buy get mine strengthened? whats involved with this?

suppose better ask how much too

i can get you 909 shafts with cups etc....

These are real motosport shafts and components made for the Mk3

They are not cheap tho!

between them two price somewhere, depends on what exactly you want i.e shaft or shaft with cups etc.. Check the other post at the mo about MTX75 box.

Check "new stuff" section in performance ford this month, theres a company doing uprated driveshafts, bit pricey mind, and.... fookin look at those yellow gaiters

Soys car still runs std shafts and cv joints..... tried and tested at 350bhp..... cars need a weak point so's not to break the box imo

Steve3door is right about having a weak spot.

Last week a high power FRST snapped a shaft at Santapod after a warm up, if his shaft didnt let go his box would of.....

A drive shaft costs no where near the price of a new box.
