Finding out what ford has done?
When you have your car worked on by ford, do they keep the info on a central pc?, so when you take your car somewhere else they can track the history etc - i presume they do.
If so, can anyone find this info out?

I just went into my local dealer, and they were able to print of copys of invoices from a garage MILES away, where it had been serviced about 2 years before i bought it

Thought they must have a central pc for warranty reasons at least.
I'm pissed off that they say there is nothing wrong with my steering on my focus and really wanna find out if they at least looked at it - would be interested in their comments, cos i think they are mugging me off TBH.

ford have all the warranty info as they pay the dealer for it and all that work ios done ona seperate wip number to the normal work you have done
all of our branches can get the infomation BUT it has to be requested from em,,,,,,, it also varies as unlike BMW not all ford places are on kerridge, but the ones who are can get it all fairly easy,,,,,,,, if not its just a email away
if you tell me the problems via PM ill see what i can get from my place at work but i cant promise as us parts staff have had a fall out with the service guys as we decided to charge them a 5% handling fee for getting us to order in parts so they can fault find as we end up with shelves of useless shite and they are eating our profits
so as a result they wont re mot out cars if we take em off site and are being petty with us and sulking
but ill try
