Default Plane tickets.

I want to book a flight to australia with quantas so that I fly on sunday the 8th (jan). The quantas web site says I can book for sunday but I worried that the tickets won't turn up in time, has anyone ever booked this early in advance before?

Cheers, Chris.

In experiance you will get issued an electroinc ticket, this means you just turn up at the check in desk hand of your passport and all is done

That is what happened to me when i went to new york last april

All mine are e-tickets. Easiest way to do it and just take the print out and your credit card to the check in desk. Job done.

I booked a holiday to Ibiza from Last Minute . com a few years ago at around 6.30pm on a thursday evening after work- late night shopping, used the internet cafe in the pallasades.

Then me and my mate went our seperate ways to pack, I then picked him up and drove to East midlands airport where we flew at 4.00am.

They hand wrote our tickets when the check in desks opened at 3.30.

And yes it was FOOKING CLOSE.

Even tickets booked on the day with airlines these days are very often etickets and if not you collect them from a ticket desk. Been Quantas you would probably collect the tickets from a BA ticket desk at most UK airports (if there are any to collect).
