I put this pic up on another post, and it doesnt seem to be displaying scrollbars when the pic is bigger than the screen

Im running a resolution of 1280x800 (widescreen) and when i enlarge this image to true size, the bottom is cut off.

as an example, try lowering your monitor resolution to say 800x600 and then do the same again.

 

also make sure "tools/internet options/advanced/enable automatic image resizing" is unticked.

Sorry mates but had to remove it, does not work properly. causes server load to be multiplied by 3 almost
It was giving nice cosmetic results, but i don't like the way it adds huge load for almost nothing.

 

looks like we need a pic moderator

 

or peeps understanding that a 1600x1200 pic is not made to be posted on a forum

i put back my old resizer. no pop up option, but at least it works and keeps the site fast for everyone

 

 

Well, unless its a screen grab, I almost always reduce my picture files to around 30-40k.

Its not really a hard job for people really.

Pet, lots of images just stopped working completely for me since the
reboot off the website server a few minutes ago ....

Just get a text string of hex numbers

Cant be helped, people will just have to edit the [img] string to remove the numbers. Trial and error keeping this place fast as its just so busy... sadly this mod was not to be.
