as above......does it hurt coz ive heard that your awake during op and i aint watching some dr play with my bollox with a scalpal with me watching.
She wants me to have the op but just a bit nervous, thats all

im 37 mate with 2 kiddies and i dont plan to have anymore but just checking my options.....dont fancy wearing an overcoat for the rest of my life

Nothing to it. I was awake (I wanted to keep an eye on what the doc was up to, but he had no interest in playing with my bits, though I wouldn't have minded if his nurse had a go!)
Very slight swelling for a day or two, (kind of sorry to see it go!), and then back to normal.
You still come just like before, except with the swimmers diverted off to be reabsorbed by your body (don't worry, you don't get fat or pregnant).
There is a possibility that it can be reversed later but there are no guarantees that the op can be reversed. You have to regard it as permanent, though they don't guarantee that the snip itself will work.
