Default Best place for det sensor on a YB.

i run my det cans on the centre bolt on the inlet to head bolt.

but i'm havein mega problems with gearbox and other noises comin thro.


Where do others place there's?

i'm runnin a Stefascope (spelling) to ear muffs in car,

been movin it around, and revin her up.

i have now put it on the block, near the disty, as dont seem to get as much back ground noise.

will go out and try it on the road next.

i always run mine on the inlet manifold bolts,,, i gotta be honest i havent played about with position yet

Have you tried the position of the standard knock sensor i.e. LHS lower block by engine mount on the Sapph 4x4??? (viewed from front)

No i haven't, but to hard to get to on my car really on the road side.
