Default FAO Tiff (or other PF Plumbers....)

In a Composite Shower set-up, consisting of a Thermostatic Blending Valve, a Stop-Cock and a Shower Head, which order do they go?

To me, logic suggested that the Stop-Cock would be first, to control the flow of water before the Blending Valve mixed it to the desired temperature, then off to the Shower Head.

However, the fittings on the kit more supports the theory of the Blending Valve being first, followed by the Stop-Cock, then off to the Shower Head.

Back me up guys!!

CheeRS for that. Surprisingly, the instructions don't detail in what order to fit the components!! I guess that's because they assume that a qualified tradesman will fit it.
