Default what should i expect (bhp wise)

I WENT TO COLLINS A WHILE AGO AND HAD A STAGE 3 FITTED IE T34 WITH -55 HOUSING A SET OF GREYS NEW FUEL PUMP IGNITION COIL AND RUNNING ABOUT 22PSI OF BOOST. SINCE THEN I'VE FITTED A 500 COOLER SO I SUPPOSE MY QUESTION IS WHAT DO YOU THINK IS A SAFE BOOST PRESSURE TO RUN ON THIS SETUP (BARING IN MIND THAT IT LEAVES A BROWN TRAIL FROM THE EXHAUST WHEN I COME ON BOOST AT THE MO) AND WHAT BHP SHOULD I GET FROM THIS SET UP.

Stu MSD Chip, Greens, T34 .55, 500 ic and 21psi = 320 bhp on mine
Karl NMS Chip, Greys, T34 .55, 500 ic and 29psi = 371 bhp on mine now

You got a stage 3 chip in?

Or one actualy suited for greys?

As a stg3 chip is greens, and if you put greys on without a chip for it it will overfuel like a cnut

From what I've read, my limited experience with him, and my brother's extensive experience of his work I'd say he really knows what he's doing.

My car runs really well on his chip, although it was also spot on with Stu's chip when on Stage 3 / Greens spec.

Basically you won't go wrong with either of those companies - I'd recommend anyone else to either of them.

Karl is Karl Norris of Norris Motor Sports (NMS as it's more commonly known!)

Think he's up near Coventry - he also posts on here regulary, though he is very busy with all the customers he has.

I'll try and find a link to his website in a mo

Doubt it my mates is Collins chip (same one whos flames hit the roof) and his goes upto 29psi of boost and holds it, so probs wont help dude

You won't go wrong with Karl though, it will be the best mod you ever did

you should have it live mapped for defo, with your 500 cooler expect the boost set to peak around 29 and hold 25 ish . speak to Karl about what you want, it's your car and he will do what you ask, but i doubt he'd recommend much more boost?

the smoke could be a number of things really, tired engine or just overfuelling, greys ideally need live mapping so an off the shelf chip isn't really good enough.

power should be a genuine 365-370bhp i reckon maybe slightly more
