Default can anyone help with the brake problem?

i just bolted the master cylinder back on my car, connected all the brake lines up and put in some fluid.

i checked all the bleed nipples were tight and went to pump up the brakes.

the pressure of the peddle never increased and no fluid left the resevior.

i checked around to make sure i hadnt done something stupid and couldnt see any problems.

then i took the master cylinder back off and dropped all the srpings and washer out, they all look ok. and i checked that the piston was coming out when the peddle was pressed, and it was.

i bolted it all back up and tried again but still nothing. just a soft peddle. no movement of fluid and no increase of pressure.

i was thinking, get a master clyinder service kit and see how it goes.
but i thought i'd ask incase anyone has any ideas or sugestions.

i tried that, and the fluid still didnt go any where.

but surely if the nipple was closed the pressure would build up and i would feel it in the peddle

Be patient with it, if you pump too fast you could turn the seal around in the master cylinder.

Prime and bleed the master cylinder first , no point pumping air around until the master is bled !
