just took my sky package from my bedroom at parents house to new gaff.. wired it up, and it all works.. so that'll be a 40 quid + package for 10 quid a month..

sky+ was downstairs, so only took normal unfortunately.. TBH ideally i want sky+ as once youve got it, its hard to not have it, if ya get me

i assume it is multi room that you have moved.

if so, sky will know that the phone line is disconnected, or connected to a different phone line

expect a letter from sky in due course

mines not plugged in and they have never sent me a letter

AFAIK, with multiroom you have to have the line connected to both boxes even after 12 monnths is up.

if you didnt have to, every one would get a mate to subscribe to multi room and use the box in their own house, get a dish of ebay or somewhere and pay mate for the sub

kevandalice Is correct. It's part of Sky's T&C's that stop you from doing this. It's apparently random that tehy check your phone line is conected, but with + Box's it's checked more regularly and as said they will write to you and can termintate contracts after so many letters etc. I reckon you will be alright being a normal digibox
