OK, just been drooling over different models and the question is

GT3 or Turbo?

GT3 = 380bhp,
Turbo 420 bhp, (turbo S = 450bhp)

Couldn't find the weights

Is the GT3 a better drivers car?

GT3 is faster both in straight line and around corners on the track, I wonder what would be on some kind of road, stage place like that. But GT3 RS even copes well in rallying

Turbo and Turbo S are AWD. Ony turbocharged models withut AWD are called GT2. Turbo S is kind of AWD GT2.

what? Turbo is faster than a GT3 in a straight line and to be honest in most peoples hands a Turbo would be faster on track as well.

GT3 is the better drivers cars, its more focused and more rewarding to drive hard.

And I've never heard of anyone Rallying a GT3 RS???

Best Motoring tests shown opposite. 996 GT3 was quicker than the turbo in all conditions.

Google for Porsche Road Challenge. I can e-mail you vids with those. In Belgium they beat Grp. N cars and are just behid WRC cars on dry tarmac. And one even managed to be in top ten on snow in Rallye Ardennes which was won by Leszek Kuzaj in Grp. N Impreza Spec.C

Techart wheels on the black one look sweeeet

Azrael, sorry I thought you meant Rallying as in 'mud, trees and snow!'

Never seen a GT3 timed as fast as a Turbo.

Love them both, as a road car you would have to choose the Turbo. Trackcar then the GT3

I don't have any ideas how to send you whole Best Motoring International program but I will find out which one was it so you can get it from eMule or somewhere.

Basically the same for me. Although I've never driven one :-(

This time an on-board. For those who think rallying is only gravel there is some kilometer gravel part on this stage.

Fast road cars as quick as a 500bhp Cosworth, met one at totb1 with similar mods. We were very closely matched at that time.
