I would only expect it to make a difference above the 450bhp mark...

I had one on mine, there was a difference on the before and after RR runs.....I'll put up the printouts a bit later

they allow more air in the plenum to be stored so more access for the throttle bodys for aint i supose, hence they make the car a little leaner, but dont quote me

Depends on what plenum you have on the car to start with....
The restriction is in the ELBOW on a standard 2wd / 4x4 plenum cover.

No, the EECIV plenum is the best and will flow enough air for 500bhp (which is why I have one on my car...
).
