is this correct, if so i have something wrong somewhere.

if you shortens your actuator rod you get more boost. because the spring inside the actuator stiffens up.

That's what i was thinking, just worried i was having a blonde moment and doing something stupid. Swapped turbos and car is only boosting 10psi now, it was boosting 15psi before, and is supposed to be about 24psi......... Can't find the problem anywhere, changed the amal valve and actuator too, and my hoses seem ok!

Have you rejetted the Amal Valve?

You'll need to in order to get 24psi......

Yes i have a GGR amal valve, but i was getting 24 psi before with the old one. Swapped intercoolers and hoses last nite but still no improvement.
