is it worth fitting harnesses?
I have some harnesses in the garage, i'm wondering if it is worth fitting them into the standard sapphire cossie seats, or is it not worth the hassle? anyone got them fitted to there standard seats?
also where are they best mounted? and can you also use them whilst keeping your standard seat belts in for everyday use?
cheers

Unless you fit bucket seats then they aren't worth it for daily driving.
Still ok for track days as long as your seats are strong enough to take the strains in a crash.
The're a right pain when you want to just pull up at the postbox to drop off a letter or something. I tend to loosen them off as I slow down before pulling up so that I can quickly unclip them and climb out. Plus they are a pain to loosen and take twice as long to sort out when they are not clipped up.

I love mine..but my car is very track focused. I only drive it when I want to DRIVE it so the fuss doesn't bother me.
Theres no way i'd have them in a everyday car though!!

I thought normal seats aren't strong enough to cope with harnesses.
ie crash and they will snap the seat in half as well as your back.
maybe wrong though.

I've had them in an everyday car, but then my car was stripped, and was fitted with proper bucket seats, IMO there was no messin around, just seems people are lazy these days!
