Default Flat Shift or full throttle gear change ?

How exactly does this work? i have been trying to get my head around how it could work today but have not come up with a conclusive solution i have ideas but they are just that,

It is based on a cut either spark or fuel or both, also a Ignition retard and cut lenght,
Set up correctly there is no lag between gear change and seemless acceleration, this helps keep the suspension level also as the car doesnt dip on change also,
It noramly means the fitment of a switch on the clutch pedal so the cut happens when you press it, The real trick cars with dog box's you use a strain gauge on the gear stick so all you do is push the gear stick and it all happens ,
Best use is a track car and a toy for the road

That has to be hard on the clutch though - full throttle then the gear engaging...

Done right it isnt that hard on clutch but the cut on the engine is not the best thing to do,
I only recomend it on race cars but boys will be boys so people want it for the road

mark,I,m using msd digital6 ignition with high and low rev cuts for launch

etc,what is the max revs for full throttle shift with a t4 set up?

You would need to test that as it is a slightly primative set up for flat shift, the Autronic has a time cut and retard also so the way I set it has no effect or help to you.
