Default Idea for PF

I have been thinking about something for a while and here it is,

A table that shows infomation about items used to tune a car i.e Injectors all the infomation about them how much they flow, what power they can be used up to other infomation about them, the same with Turbos different Specs of turbos what they can flow in different configurations etc etc

They can have a section were tuners on here can confirm weather or not they agree with the infomation provided, as some might think that a turbo if set right could perform better or worse for that matter,

This could be a fixed Sticky as it were and people could just refer to it instead of asking lots of questions, almost like a glossary as such.

You could have all the different features of managment so that they can be compared against each other.

I appericiate that this would take some time, but also feel it would benifit the BB and those seeking infomation.

If i am wrong please tell me to leave

Finally somebody with sense thats my hole point

mike

If you get a variety of tuners to endorse it then it has some credibility and gives people confidence in what it says

Would be good to see what all the injector flow rates are and would save people asking...

Best T3's/ T34's for both RST's and Stage 1,2,3 cossies and some..

Wht about Brake set-ups?

Best Pad/disc combo, for all uses-

good idea , i know a a bit of a freshy to these here hallowed pages that finding out info like that would be a great help and may make some people who would feel more inclined to ask questions rather than be intimadated but asking questions that some of the more advanced users may feel are silly or petty

gud idea jock son , pm stu and ask wht he tinks ?

Good Idea in principle but where do you draw the line?

Theories/opinions are formed through experience, different Engine builders/Tuners will have formed different ideas of what works best for them through their experience.

IMO to then simply give away the years of experience/opinions/ideas that they have formed would be foolish!

It would simply be a case of agree-ing in principle about certain things Andy and alot of the items would be hard fact items for comparsion only,

I think its a great idea, but most mods depend on choice, example Stu MSD probably does completly different set ups for a 400bhp cossie, than say MA Developments.

Both will work supurb but may use completly different injectors, turbos, e.t.c

But this is hard fact comparison NOT how does x tuner get 350bhp and how does z tuner get 350bhp, purely stuff like injectors flow x the part # is they are made by, they can be used up to x bhp that type of thing somethings are open to a little more interetation then others,
