Bit harsh pal

You were the one selling it back then and clearly got what you wanted for it.

Other people like other things and if they own it they can do what they like

agreed, if u sell it, you dont own it any more. If u want it to stay as u like it, don't sell it, it's the only way

Can't really say anything more than Tiffnay has said mate, aint seen the mag yet, but Carwise seem to do things properly so sure it's done well.

Other thing being that when you handed him the keys you gave up all right's to say what happened with the car!

you should have made it a condition of the sale that the new owner can't modify it

I bought a metro turbo off a guy to rob it of its engine for my mini a couple of years ago and the bloke who owned that was In love with it as i loaded it onto the trailer he was takin photo's n stuff and i promised him I'd look after it
Three days later i E-mailed him some photos of it on its side after i'd robbed the motor and fuel pump etc from it and jumped on the roof and stuff
i also tried to send a short vid of it being crushed but couldn't work out how to get it off my phone onto the pooter

Agree with Tiff's 1st post.................if it's your car you say what goes, but if you don 't own it.................saying that, IF I sold my S1 and saw someone has chavved it up I wouldn't be overly chuffed. but as I said if it wasn't my car......................

I agree 100% with Tiffany. That's being a c-unt for the sakes of it.

As has been said though Carwise seem to do the work properly and the guy that owns it is very happy.

I think the owner of our FRST would be gutted if she saw it now as she was so proud of it being standard. But then our old XR2i that has been put back on the road and is driven locally to us after being written off is upsetting as the car was really nice and is now a piece of crap. But it's not ours now

What you have to remember is that he has spent thousands of pounds on this 3 door to get it to the spec it has now ,, would you spend that kind of money on a shitter of a car ????? No , so he bought a stunning example to start with
The car is stunning and is ssooo fast he shits himself every time he drives it ,lol,
He was at my place on sunday and says he cant wait untill the summer whan he goes back to brunters to do some top speed runs ( when its dry )

Good luck with the car mate

I know it says its a different engine in the article but I presume that is the EXACT engine that used to be in the saff as I heard he sold it?

Looked a nice car in the feature. I agree with North yorks as well, why spunk money on a shed.

I have to ask though, why do people think 600bhp and 215 tyres are a good idea?!?!?!?

hello every one. think ill do a little post here. dicky ismy brother and i know the car well. i think the guy has done a very good job on the car, but i can see my brothers point. theres notmany standard 3 doors left in that sort of condition and to see one totally changed can be a bit of a shame. seem to think that maybe it wasnt necessary to spend so much on a standard example??? could have saved a few grand on aslightly older one??

I did the exact same to my RST ... completely standard concourse car which I stipped and caged....it you want the best you need to start off with the best condition car you can.

That 3 door is now 10 times the car it used to be....lets face it STANDARD 3 doors are not exactly the best performance car in the world compared to modern day machinery and modified performance cars!
