My olds heard it in harrow!
I heard it and and promptly shat myself then went back to sleep
Then 5 mins later my mate texts from...........................Surrey
and asks if i heard the bang.
I was like WTF wonder if was in the house and maybe I was that fooked lastnight and forgot he was round . Called him back and he said it was all over the news!
shocked at how far it was heard/felt..................was hoooooooooooooj i tell thee i swear i thought it was Armageddon or something

I was in work not even half a mile away. The roof caved in. We had to leg it out of the building. We've been sent home. Building is fcuked ! I work at BOC if anyone was wondering. Ive just this minute got in.

My wife woke up at 6.06 and ask if i felt the house shake!!!!!! I was like "you have lost the plot go back to sleep" And we live in windlesham in surrey

I heard the explosion at 6.00am & i'm in kent ! At 1st i thought it sounded like the explosions we always here from across the water at Shoeburyness MOD place but thought it a little strange at 6.00am Sunday morning !

I'm in Welwyn Garden City (about 15miles away) and we thought somebody had kicked the door in so I dived out of bed ready to confront intruders My two cockatiels were going mental as they'd fallen from their perches.
I then realised we had car alarms going off in the street. I actually thought we'd had another small earthquake like the other year. As the adrenaline was going I couldn't settle so put the telly on and reports were filtering through to Sky news by not much after 6:10.
People are now flapping about fuel

Crikey, just been watching this on the news, I thought they were joking when they said people up to 20 mile away heard/felt the explosion.
Big chunk of the M1 is closed aswell, thats gonna cause some chaos
