Default Track car suggestions

What would you suggest for a decent CHEAP fun track car?

It needs to be cheap, ie very, and something needing painted would be useful as I'm a panel beater aswell as a dirty sailor

I was thinking along the lines of a Mk2 XR2, but I've been swinging towards a 205.......... Needs to handle, so I can harass scoobys and evos on the twisty bits of knockhill....

Oh yeah, and it needs to be small.

What do you suggest??

Where would the fun be in that? Half the fun is builing the thing and then when you scare the saxo driver into submission, it's all the more pleasing.
